The Bible: We believe the Bible is the word of God, free from errors, and the tool used to continue his work. 2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
Creation: We believe God created the heavens and the earth. We believe God created man in his own image. John 1:3 – Before God, there was nothing. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Prayer: We believe in engaging in prayer as a way to deepen our relationship with God, and to draw near to Him. James 4:8 – Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Baptism: We believe water baptism is the method in which Christians may share their testimony of faith. Baptism is symbolic, and not a requirement to get into heaven. Acts 2:38 – And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Salvation: We believe in the gift of salvation. We believe Jesus paid the price for our sin, and one must simply believe in Jesus Christ as the one and only true savior, for admittance into heaven. Those who do not call upon Jesus the savior will be separated from God for eternity. John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Communion: We believe in participating in communion as a way to reflect and remember the sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross, in the form of a human, before rising and returning to heaven. 1 Corinthians 11:25 – In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
The Trinity: We believe there is one God who is in existence as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19 -Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
